LIVA brand lightning rod, model LAP-BX175, installed on a tiled roof, using a 6 meter high pole, pulling a sling under the roof.
Install the lightning counter in the test box.
Fastening the columns under the roof by using a support to receive the columns,
using steel to support them for strength.
Lead wire uses bare copper wire size 70 Sq.mm,
threaded in a 1" UPVC pipe. Install a lightning strike counter in a test box (Text box).
Grounding system
A 5/8" ground rod, 3 meters long, was used. The grounding method
was deep-drilled and a concrete pit was placed for future ground improvements.
The grounding test was performed to a standard value of no more than 5 ohms.
The image shows a good grounding value, within the specified standards.
Recommendations: The operation of the lightning rod should be checked, the grounding conductor should be inspected, and the grounding system should be improved to a value not exceeding the standard 5 ohms.
